Capri Blue recommends following its candle-care instructions to get the best burn. In particular, proper wick care and burning practices are important for maintaining an even melt pool.
Independent testing of Havana Vanilla has been reasonably positive regarding smoke and soot. One reviewer reported no problems with sooting or smoking, although they recommended keeping the wick trimmed. They also noted that the candle could have difficulty pooling properly in cooler conditions.
